Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms apply to the use of jivanparivartan.com and to participation in programs, sessions, trainings, and retreats offered by Jivan Parivartan, Tarkeshwor-5, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Bookings

  • A booking is confirmed once we have acknowledged it in writing (email or WhatsApp) and, for trainings and retreats, once the 25% deposit is received.
  • Program places are limited and allocated in order of confirmed booking.
  • Prices are stated in US dollars and include what is listed under “Included in Price” on each program page — nothing more, nothing less.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation terms are set out in our Booking & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Health and participation

  • Our programs involve physical practice. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to participate and for informing us of any medical conditions, injuries, or pregnancy before your program begins.
  • Yoga, meditation, and energy healing complement medical care; they do not replace it. Continue any treatment prescribed by your doctor.
  • Teachers may adapt or restrict your participation in specific practices where needed for your safety.

Conduct at the center

  • The center is an ashram environment: residential students are asked to follow the daily schedule, observe silence periods, and treat staff, teachers, and fellow students with respect.
  • Alcohol, tobacco, and non-prescribed drugs are not permitted on the premises.
  • We reserve the right to end the participation of anyone whose conduct endangers or seriously disrupts others, without refund.

Certification

Certificates are issued on successful completion of a course, including attendance and assessment requirements. Yoga Alliance registration after a YTTC is done by you directly with Yoga Alliance.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Jivan Parivartan is not liable for personal items, for losses arising from events outside our control (including weather, flight disruptions, or government restrictions), or for injuries resulting from a participant's failure to disclose relevant health information. Travel insurance is required for retreat participants and strongly recommended for all residential students.
