Overview

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice in which the practitioner places their hands gently on or above the body, supporting the nervous system into a state of deep rest. Most people experience warmth, heaviness, and profound calm — many simply fall asleep.

Sessions at Jivan Parivartan are given by practitioners trained in the traditional Usui lineage, in a quiet, dedicated healing room at our Tarkeshwor center.

Reiki is a complement to medical care, not a replacement for it. People come to us for stress, sleep difficulties, grief, low energy, and simply to rest deeply.

    You lie fully clothed on a comfortable table. The practitioner works through gentle hand positions from head to feet, in silence or with soft sound.

    Time to return slowly, drink tea, and share anything you noticed. Simple aftercare guidance for the following days.

No. You only need to lie down and rest. The relaxation response is physiological — most people feel it regardless of what they believe.
Anything comfortable. You remain fully clothed throughout the session; only shoes come off.
